Teens jumping off buildings, farmers hanging themselves, mothers turning into murderers - these incidents have now become very common. People have found out a way to get rid of the problems they face – the funda is simple. If you can’t solve the problem, get rid of it, and if you can’t get rid of the problem, get rid of yourself. But can this human act of ending a divine life be justified?
Some might agree to this. When a situation arises where the path of life becomes invisible, where does one search for light? To search for a ray of light (hope), there should be at least some visibility left. So how does a man who is blinded in all respects see through this darkness? It would rather be simple for him to give in to the darkness forever and embrace it helplessly.
But is it all that simple to embrace death? These people must have been tortured or rather in some cases, tortured themselves to such an extent that the meaning of life is lost. Teens stop caring for their loved ones as the one they loved doesn’t care for them anymore. Farmers don’t have money to buy food for themselves, forget repaying their loans.
So what do you suggest? How does this trend stop? Will it ever stop? Well, I am myself confused, for I don’t have a solution either. All I know is that the life we have is gifted to us, it is not ours to end, for I believe that struggles and difficulties are forever. We can only accept life as it presents itself to us, trying to change it will only cause sorrow and make us restless. Let us learn to handle the pressure before it blows us off.
